Rainbow Bridge

RB_Logo_ColorWestern Hills Humane Society has much happiness, but also endures the loss of many animals.

Volunteers helped to put together the Mother’s Garden – visible upon driving up to the shelter.

Through the help of the Spearfish High School Shelter Pals, the Rainbow Bridge was later added.

Now it is time to launch the Memorial Brick Path in the garden area to honor deceased family pets at the Rainbow Bridge. The construction will begin in May and will be ongoing as people purchase memorial bricks.

Western Hills Humane Society is a no-kill pet shelter, dedicated to helping, homeless, sick or injured animals. In doing so, we seek suitable homes for animals without owners. The shelter relies on donations and fundraising efforts and is also generously funded by the City of Spearfish, Lawrence County, and grants.
